Derbyshire ash slab table

This design utilises 20mm thick shaped and polished steel to create a strong and classic industrial X-leg form tempered by exaggerated organic curves. The legs are tied together by a reclaimed solid oak post. The top utilises a beautiful, large, single slab of Ash sourced from a substantial old ash tree that had been felled in Derbyshire after it had succumed to disease. The finish includes an undercoat of tinted wax which allows the strong natural grain patterns of the ash to really stand out.
